Military Times の Gear Scout によると、米陸軍のレミントン社に対する発注数量は、24,000挺 。数量未確定 (IDIQ : Indefinite - Delivery Indefinite-Quantity) で最大 120,000挺、金額にして $83,924,089.00 になる、としている。また、米陸軍の契約部門 (Army Contracting Command) が記すところによれば潜在的な発注の最大規模は $180,000,000.00 としている。
米陸軍へ M4 Carbine を独占的に長きに渡って供給し続けてきた Colt社 との関係、M4 代替となる 米陸軍・次世代カービン (次期小銃) 選定 が順調でないなど、今後の動向に多くの関心を集めそうだ。
