EAGLE社、海兵隊からILBE後継の新型Packを受注

ATK (Alliant Techsystems Inc.) 傘下の Eagle Industries が米海兵隊システム軍団 (MARCORSYSCOM : Marine Corps Systems Command) から、ILBE (Improved Load Bearing Equipment) の後継となる 新型 "USMC Pack" を受注した。
FILBE (Family of Improved Load Bearing Equipment) の一環となる製品で、プエルトリコにある工場 2 ヶ所で製造、2012 年 9 月に完納の予定。

なお、"USMC Pack" の構成は次の通り。
main pack, assault pack, assault pouch, sustainment pouch (quantity 2), hydration pouch (quantity 2), hydration carrier, hydration bladder system, sternum cinch, sub-belt, repair kit and USMC Pack instruction card.
また、サブベルトについては、初期の USMC Pack の調達から除外され、遅れて納入される模様。
