欧米で 5月 の発売が予定されている Ubisoft の "Ghost Recon: Future Soldier" について、オーストラリアとニュージーランド市場へ向けた、豪華な特典を同梱した "Collector's Edition" の存在が海外ゲームサイトで掲載された。
その Collector's Edition には、Ghost Recon の Tシャツと、ハードカバーの ART Book、石版刷 (リトグラフ) 、スチール製のブックケースなどが入っているとのことで、ボーナスコンテンツについても後日発表されるともしている。
推奨小売価格こそ発表されなかったものの、この限定版は 120～130ドル で販売されることが期待されている。

ゴーストリコン フューチャーソルジャー は、大人気の近未来 特殊部隊戦闘を描いた『ゴーストリコン』シリーズの最新作。
今回の「フューチャーソルジャー」では、米軍 ＮＡＴIＣ研究所のプロジェクトである「フューチャーソルジャー2030プログラム（the Future Soldier 2030 initiative）」をもとにしたストーリーとなる。「フューチャーソルジャー2030プログラム」の研究成果を参考にした、パワードスーツや光学迷彩、陸上用ドローン（無人機）などのハイテク兵器が戦いの主役。
最先端の装備を用いた「フューチャーソルジャー」たちによる、「近い未来、現実のものとなるであろう戦い」を描いたゲーム。本作でプレイヤーは、ロシアの国家主義者による "Coup" (クーデター) を阻止すべく、米国最精鋭部隊の4人の GHOST隊員 と共に活躍することとなる。
